Shaking My Head

I shake my head for my generation,

Many of us are so hung up on men of God that we forget the Christian race is a personal walk marred with errors and mistakes aka sins that are only there to make us better.
We are sooo good at pointing fingers and laughing at men of God's mistakes that we forget that before the "of God"  there is the "Man".

Yes they are there and their mistakes/sins(whatever you call it) are more glaring because they are up there, but God never expected us to look at them as our role models. He set Jesus as the standard.

I see many people going to hell just for this fact that they use Pastors/Ministers/ whatever its called in your denomination as their standards such that when they fall something just raises a question in their head.

Run your Christian race individually,

Go to Church, its primary purpose is for fellowship, get close to God BY YOURSELF!!!! it was never the responsibility of the Pastor,

Model after Jesus NOT A MAN!!!.

Do not join in sharing things that only tarnishes God's image, you are just indirectly working for the devil.

Save a soul, that's your primary responsibility.

Get ready for more humiliation of the Christian walk, its the end time, its meant to happen.

*stops shaking head*

Carving a Niche (Part 2)

Hi guys. Hope you picked a few points from the first post on Carving a Niche, if you didn't read the first post you can read it here....

This is the conclusive part of the post please feel free to ask questions, make observations and drop comments.

Thank you.

This post was complied from my tweets on the topic Enterprise development; Carving a Niche which I posted from @thechocboy handle on Twitter for the #TenConference hosted by @ten_africa on Twitter. kindly follow both handles.

31. Identify every single person in your niche as a potential. That dude has world capacity. You never know! #TenConference

32. Now to my movie of the month. The Expendables 3!  If you haven’t watched it please do. #TenConference

33. Watch it with attention to how Sylvester Stallon selected his team. #TenConference

34. Think of everybody around you as someone with unimaginable potential. #TenConference

35. As the movie rounded up, it was practically looking impossible for them to overcome the battalion of opposition but YES they did. #TenConference

36. Everybody contributing his own skill and expertise. #TenConference

37. That is exactly a feel of what the people around you can do. #TenConference

38. Never disregard people no matter what!!!! #TenConference

39. Even when your brand as failed on its promise, creates a buy-back mechanism. #TenConference

40. Don’t be surprised a failed brands promise cost more to repair.#TenConference

41.  If you care that much. Pay the price. #TenConference

42. It’s also very important you create BRAND Ambassadors. How to create one is a topic for another day but the strategy is pretty simple. #TenConference

43. IDENTIFY-TRAIN-SENDFORTH-CALL BACK, Repeat step 2, 3, 4 as many times as needed. #TenConference

44.Yes it is very possible that the people closest to you don’t need your service/product but the truth is they may know who does. #TenConference

45. After all these have been done the next step will be expanding your niche. That’s also a topic for another day. #TenConference

46. On any business at all these basic principles apply. Many times it is not that we do not know them we just need to be reminded. #TenConference

47. The most important point here I think is KEEPING YOUR BRAND PROMISE. #TenConference

Hummmm. So that's about all I said (tweeted) on the day of the conference, I got retweets and questions and It made me know the message was well received.

I am not too much of a "journalist" but I will try to post as much content as I think is relevant to you.

Thanks for stopping by.

Your Sincerely

Oluwajare Fola-Bolumole

Carving a Niche

Hi friends. I was invited to speak at a conference hosted on Twitter by @ten_africa a Bolu Onasanya Initiative and I was to speak (tweet) on the topic Enterprise Development; Carving a Niche. It was an opportunity I gladly accepted because I felt it would be good for someone out there to learn a thing or two. Something that could help transform his/her thinking.

The tweets were quite many therefore I have decided to create 2 (two) posts out of it. The tweets were also numbered for ease of follow. You can follow me @iamjlordz and my company @thechocboy. I will follow back

The conference has since held on the 21st of August 2014 which happens to be World Entrepreneur's Day.

I have collated my tweets in my first post to this blog and will be sharing it here so that someone else might gain from it.

Let us jump right into it.

1. Good day guys, I am Oluwajare Fola-Bolumole CEO of The ChocBoy Brand. www.chocboy.com and I will be speaking on "Enterprise Development; Carving a Niche" #TenConference

2. I will be using the movie. The Expendables as a case study for comparison purpose. #TenConference

3. So think along the line of the movie while we unravel "Enterprise Development; Carving a Niche" #TenConference

4. I will explain my points with my business as "testimony" to the fact that it works. #TenConference

5. Carving a niche simply means to create a space for yourself; creating demand for yourself #TenConference

6. I think the first step in carving a niche is, UNDERSTANDING WHAT YOUR BUSINESS is about. #TenConference

7. You can call it knowing the purpose of your business. #TenConference

8. Note here- as an entrepreneur, you fully don't have all the knowledge about your field, #TenConference

10. Your strength might just be identifying problems and creating a medium through which you can make money while solving it. #TenConference

11. Yes, The ChocBoy Brand produces chocolate and its varieties but our sole purpose and aim is "selling fun" we want to be known as a hub of fun #TenConference

12. Chocolate is the most facinating tool through which we are selling fun #TenConference

13. That’s why we build everything up to our most climaxing event at the end of the year. #TenConference

14. Identify the most "intangible" part of your business, honestly, the most "intangible" produces the most tangible. SELL INTANGIBILITY #TenConference

15. SELL INTANGIBILITY #TenConference

16. Next step is identifying the least cost effective but highly efficient tool for selling it. #TenConference

17.This is why Social Media is one of the best tools. This already has been properly discussed by @JohnObidi  #TenConference

18. Have these questions in mind when carving a niche. #TenConference

19. Who are my friends?  Among them who is/are the most influential? Where am I right now? How can I use this place to my advantage? #TenConference

20. How can I get the people here to appreciate what I do? Do I do Give Away's? #TenConference

21. In every business, there are the early adopters and the late adopters, #TenConference

22. Worry not because if your brand keeps to its promise the late adopters even have the tendency to bring bigger gains, #TenConference

23. GET THE EARLY ADOPTERS ON YOUR SIDE;  we call them the hype-men. They will sell your brand while you sleep. #TenConference

24. As much as it is possible let the brand keep its promise. A pissed customer is as bad as a sunken cargo ship. #TenConference

25. When you have done all this make sure your customer service is excellent. #TenConference

26. I am building up to one of the most important part of business here which is called referral. #TenConference

27. I personally think a well satisfied customer that paid on N500 can make a reference of N5million #TenConference

28. Never be shy to ask for a referral it’s as simple as asking for a follow back it doesn’t hurt. #TenConference

29. As a business person be ready to grow from your inner circle. #TenConference

30. I think this is just a simple life principle. Truth is the inner circle might change but that’s where growth starts.  #TenConference
